Group, court holding free legal clinics for low income families

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) — Some people locally could soon get some free legal help.

The Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project and the Sixth Chancery District will hold a couple of free family law legal clinics for low income families.

You can get court documents prepared or just get some free legal advice from licensed attorneys.

The first will be for those in Attala and Carroll counties. It will take place Friday at the Attala County Chancery Building in Kosciusko.

The other one will be for those in Choctaw and Winston counties. It is scheduled for September 24 at the Winston County Courthouse in Louisville.

Both clinics will start at 9 a.m.
